Yahoo Groups

Yahoo Groups are a wonderful way for celiacs to connect with each other directly online, ask each other questions, find resources, research topics previously discussed and network. There are many Yahoo Groups related to celiac disease and the gluten-free diet, local, national or international. To join a Yahoo Group, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/ and become a Yahoo member by creating a username and password. It's free, and your public profile can be anonymous. After you join Yahoo you can search for groups related to your geographic area and interests and join them individually. Here are a few groups favored by celiacs in the Bay Area:

celiacbayarea - Based in Santa Cruz, CA, and the Bay Area. We are here to support one another in our journey to better health in living with celiac disease. In this forum we will offer each other information, recipes, tips/hints, ideas, upcoming events, information and support for each other.

bayareaceliacROCK - Bay Area Celiac ROCK (Raising Our Celiac Kids) is a support group for families of children with celiac disease or living on a gluten-free diet.

CeliacKids - This national group is designed for Chapter Leaders and Chapter members of R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids), a support group for parents, families and friends of kids with Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance. R.O.C.K also welcomes families of Autistic kids involved in a gluten-free/casein-free dietary intervention program.

eastbayceliacROCK This is a group for families with kids with celiac disease who are on a gluten-free diet.

northbayceliacs - For members of North Bay Celiacs to connect with each other.

SillyYaks - This group, with thousands of members internationally, is designed for sharing beneficial information among people whose lives are affected by Celiac Disease so they can lead a healthy gluten-free lifestyle. Members may post messages, photos, links, databases download files.
